Hello

I'm a little bit confused as to when Overclock / Underclock is most beneficial.

Is it best to Overclock for demanding games / Underclock for games that require less power to run ?

Or do I have it completely wrong and better performance is gained by Underclocking all the time ...

If I Underclock then should I increase the game speed to compensate or is this undermining the whole purpose of the Underclock ?

Don't bother overclocking unless you're trying to solve a problem where a game has lag that happens on a real Wii.

Underclock if you're trying to get a game that is lagging in Dolphin to be less intensive to run, at the risk of game breaking bugs and lower in game framerates (but dolphin's framerates would be fine)

Do not touch game speed.

Helios , thanks so much for the detailed explanation.
Obviously I was not properly using this setting.

Heh, reducing the game speed is the only non-hacky way to reduce the emulation requirements. But it will slow down everything, including audio (pitch).

I tried setting it to 0.95 to see how it would work but it just crashes. Seems like its just not possible on Android.

I've just tried on my Mi5 the Wind Waker with the game speed at 0.95 and it worked, try again, maybe it just random crashed xD

Try setting it to .20 or up to .35 instead.  Those setting have the best results in many of the games I've tried myself.
