Tips for running Dolphin on my laptop

Hey people, I'm looking for some help

I have a Sony Vaio SVE1511 with an Intel i3-2370M CPU @ 2.4ghz with 4GB of RAM running on Windows 7 x64
It's got an Intel HD Graphics 3000 card and it's running Dolphin 3.5-300 just fine
Everything loads up fine and I've had next to no crashes.

However, with certain games I wanna play (Wind Waker and Skies of Arcadia particularly) it experiences drastic slowdown at times.
It's also refuses to play ANY audio for Skies of Arcadia now.

I'm just wondering if there's any particular configuration tips or tricks that could improve these games performances on my laptop
or am I limited by my hardware?
Any help is much appreciated

Your audio issues will probably be fixed if you upgrade to the latest dolphin version, as for your performance, you are limited by the hardware, although make sure your IR is set to 1x and disable any kind of AA.

I've just updated my version of Dolphin to the latest one and the audio is back On Skies of Arcadia but the frame drops drastically when I'm not in battle
I feared it would be the hardware that would hamstring me.
Thanks for the help all the same, guess it's time to start saving for a new laptop Smile
