Didn't JMC47 say it wasn't released because it was causing crashes or do I have that wrong?

Higan itself wasn't perfect; didn't work well with a lot of the games or at all. With Wind Waker, it would run the wrong framerate and crash a lot.

All of which I plan to solve with my own superb GBA emulator, which will of course be perfection in every conceivable way!!1!1!!

Really though, I'm closer to working on this feature now than I've ever been. 90 days ago, no commercial games would boot; now a dozen or so are up and running almost flawlessly. Still a ways to go, but I'm confident a solution can be implemented and improved upon. I look forward to tackling this in the upcoming year. The GBA <-> GCN connection is one of the reasons I even started work on GBE+.

Yeah, byuu's latest blog post pretty much confirms that. Of course he left the option that work may resume, but only on the slimmest of hopes. At least the code is OSS (as are the changes necessary for Higan to talk to Dolphin).

Well, time to step up my game then.
