The difference is one uses OpenGL and one uses D3D11. They each have their own flaws and benefits.

I'd love to find out if there is anyway to remedy the misaligned/missing geometry glitch for Timesplitters 2 when using 'Widescreen Hack', and also getting a mouse injector for Dolphin. Similar to the mouse injector for 1964 (n64 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0iE2TscJ8Q&list=UU8rw1Iyghh02hbTkbqONuHQ )

Does anyone have any ideas on how it would be possible to fix the widescreen issue?... I'd love to help out if my skillset allows me to lol

Use Swiss Widescreen

I'm stumped, I found a nightly build of Swiss for GC but I have no idea of how ot use it. Is there a tutorial that references the use of Dolphin?

Just follow what Anti-Ultimate wrote here, but sub Super Mario Sunshine for your own game of choice: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-widescreen-hack-fix-involves-a-backup-loader
