pressing a button bound to tilt Left or Right under "motion Simulation" in both the oldest and newest Beta versions of dolphin causes the cursor to leave the screen this bug was not present under version 5.0 of dolphin.

This is intentional behavior. Zelda: Skyward Sword relies on the pointer and the accelerometer being linked. (Note that you couldn't play Zelda: Skyward Sword with emulated controls in 5.0 stable.)

Until then i will play with 5.0.
What action is the game expecting you to do that you can't do? Tilting a physical Wii Remote does affect the cursor, so they can't have designed the game to rely on tilting and the cursor being completely independent..
