How do you connect you ps4 controller to dolphin unless its not possible?

DualShock 4's work natively with Windows 10 (and therefore Dolphin) if connected via bluetooth or a Micro USB to USB cable, but you'll miss out on things like analog triggers, the touchpad, and the gyro. I recommend using DS4Windows before attempting to use the controller in Dolphin.

That's not necessary, however. As long as your PC has bluetooth, or you have the aforementioned Micro USB cable, it'll work. To connect a DS4 via bluetooth, I believe you must go to Windows's "Add a bluetooth device" screen, then hold the Share button and the button with the PS logo on it. I cannot remember, but if you're asked for a password, you either enter "0000" or continue with no password. After that, you should be able to use the controller with Dolphin after it's configured.
