And how do you explain that in so many years the emulator advances so little, difficult games to emulate where? Because I have seen them emulated very well by God I think there are no excuses, we are almost in full 2018 and how it is possible that the MOBILE technology advances so much and the development of a console emulator of 2001 still does not take off on such a large platform and important as ANDROID?
This emulator is the worst thing on my phone

I can't tell if you're being serious or if you're just continuing on what JMC started... 12-03-2017, 01:53 AM

Console emulation is not some simple task. It's a CPU intensive application because, the software has to emulate all of the console's hardware functions. The more complex the console the more intensive the CPU load needed to emulate it. Now, I know you're excited and want to see dolphin emulation reach the same status as the PC version. I am to but, remember that this project is being worked and created for FREE. The developers aren't being paid and they've had to overcome a lot issues with Android drivers to it to where it is today. Android phones are now just beginning to meet to hardware requirements needed to run dolphin decently. In the realm of emulation, patience is the key. 12-03-2017, 02:05 AM
I can't believe a joke thread went serious. Never underestimate the power of noobs.

I had a feeling it could happen. I have no regrets. I'll make a new thread after I finish Wind Waker in Android and give my real thoughts on it. Note: any platforming challenge is pure hell.

I was under the impression that there's a point where you couldn't progress past on the android version.
Everything is working. I'm doing Dragon Roost Island now. Full Speed. EFB Access is broken on the drivers, meaning you can't use the pictobox though.

Very few slowdowns that last around 2-3 seconds and then back to 55fps again. 12-05-2017, 01:08 AM

It's choppy in big open areas like towns and the first dungeon island. But it's quite smooth in dungeons and while sailing. The only changes to the default config I made was to set the "Override Emulated CPU Speed" on and lower the speed to around 35%. |
