after fresh install archlinux, the Overview shows Graphics is unknown
and I can not run Dolphin Emulator, maybe graphics driver is not property installed.how to fix it?thank you
card is Intel HD Graphics 2000,I do not know what driver I am using,I have installed xf86-video-intel and in Ubuntu Grahics shows Sandy Bridge, but in Arch Grahics shows Unknown. It should be Xorg because I installed Xorg, but it shows wayland.
Code:
[cuthead@localhost ~]$ echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE
wayland
Code:
fdisk -l
mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdaX
mount /dev/sdaX /mnt
mkdir -p /mnt/boot/efi
mount /dev/sdaY /mnt/boot/efi
arch-chroot /mnt
vi /etc/locale.gen
locale-gen
pacman -S grub-efi-x86_64
pacman -S efibootmgr
grub-install --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=grub
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
umount /mnt/boot/efi
umount /mnt
reboot
pacman -Ss
pacman -S xf86-video-intel gnome xorg gdm wqy-microhei wqy-zenhei ibus networkmanager ibus-rime
useradd -g users -s /bin/bash -m cuthead
passwd cuthead
systemctl enable gdm NetworkManager

You're wasting your time. That system won't run Dolphin well at all. Average CPU, weak and outdated iGPU.

NSMBW, one of the easiest games to emulate, not even maintaining full speed at all times (which means audio will sound bad unless you're using a recent dev version with stretching), on dual core. And not everyone wants to play at 1x IR Smile

That's what I said, but cuthead didn't believe me...

Anyway, the screenshot clearly showed that the x64 JIT recompiler is being used. As I suspected, the complaints about speed are hardware related, not due anything JIT related missing in Dolphin.

On the computer with the i3-3240 and the GTX 650 Ti, its possible that something isn't configured properly. Can you post pictures of your Dolphin configuration settings?

As for the Ubuntu issue, Wayland is replacing Xorg.

Also be aware that for Nvidia cards under Linux you *must* install the Nvidia binary driver for decent performance. Some distros ship nouveau, that for some things (like desktop composition) is perfectly fine, but can often be an order of magnitude lower performance than the binary driver.
