Themes cause a big slowdown?

I changed the theme on my computer from the default Aero theme to windows classic and it might just be me but my games are running at 5fps faster than before. Can other people with windows 7 confirm that its not just me?

Well, I've tried different themes, color combinations and haven't noted any frame rate boost. Perhaps on slower pcs it's more noticeable due to Aero being a memory and video hog.

Ok I was just wondering.
It seems I do actually get 3-4 fps faster now that I actually measured.
My laptop gets a 3.6 on the Windows Experience Index for Aero performance. Everything else is above a 5.0
