Should be good. You are on windows 7 so it uses more processes compared to a minimal xp. You are also on a laptop which is infamous for needed extra processes for things like your mousepad. You also on a intel chipset which runs couple more processes that needs to run.

If you switch off the internet connection while playing, you could in practice also turn off avast antivirus as it takes the biggest amount of RAM. But other than that, you pretty much eliminated all unnecessary processes. (GSvr, gbtray, tbpanel are also optional, non-essential programs)

Um I already know that ocean but thanks? My picture was just in reference to a member stating 22 processes for his computer. Yes yes and yes ocean you are correct on those and its good you presented those statements but for me I must have gsvr, gbtray and tbpanel on. My n-lited sp3 (my customed XP) doesn't like to restart the processes if I turn them off.

Moving alot of process's from automatic to manual actuallys free up the load on thread handles.

but then again. That would have been my point.

oh and thanks jedikevin20 i thought i had way to many things running for a minute i mean if having like 50 processes running on my laptop isn't a problem then i'm happy now

thing is though that it says i have 51 running from all users but i am the only user on my computer beside the unlocked administrator account....but when i uncheck show process from all users there is only like 30 something processes

oh well

Best thing bboy is to google search each exe and learn what each one does. Its what I did a long time ago. Learned all my processes and mean memory usage of each. I always keep my task manager on and if something in memory seems off I go looking through processes for the program causing the problem. Once you learn what each does you can then decide what you would like on or off. Things will very especially if you on a laptop. You will probably have extra processes that run little things such as the mousepad etc.
