I always put my focus on the Dolphin everyday...

I downloaded the latest SVN revision when the r5890 released today.

After a brief testing, I am depressed to tell that the performance reduced again on the latest SVN r5890. The performance reduces slightly in 1~2fps on several Wii/Ngc games such as Resident Evil 4 (NGC) and Resident Evil THE DARKSIDE CHRONICLES (Wii)...

Could someone please tell me why the Dolphin SVN becomes more and more slowly ?
My desktop equipment:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 overclocking to 3.5Ghz
Memory: 4Gbytes DDR2 running in 800MHZ
Graphics:nVIDIA GTX260+ with 216 SP
Systen : Windows 7 x64

The last revision that worked well for me was 5804 (none open-cl). SMG 1, and alot of other games runs perfectly on that revision. When I run with the excact same settings on later revisions the games are running worse. Could that be because opencl got implemented? I've got a i7 overclocked as hell and a asus hd 5870 btw.

I dont know what benefit I can get from the OpenCl accelerator because there's no any improvement in most of the games with this accelerator, even the image becomes worse if I enable the OpenCL option...

Opencl acceleration is a very new feature in dolphin, and is not optimized.

It doesn't necessarily even speed up anything, it only helps with large texture decoding. It will not make much of a difference in most games

Dolphin performance heavily varies in each run, so if you say "performance decreased" you need to make sure to run each build at least 10 times or something and take the average FPS to get a good comparison...
Also, it would be useful to know which video plugin you were actually using...
Anyway, there's no way r5890 could reduce FPS that much. Same for r5889. r5888 maybe, but that should be fixed in r5907 since you can adjust that value now (it only has little influence on speed though).
FWIW I just looked over all revisions back to r5870 and there wasn't anything which should've reduced performance..
