The PAL 50 Hz problem

I noticed that some PAL games run with 50 Hz / VPS and don't enable 60 VPS even if "PAL60" mode is enabled in the options (Kirby's Epic Yarn, Xenoblade, Resident Evil 4 Wii and others).

Will there ever be an option to force these games to 60 Hz like on the original hardware? I think someone made a patch for Xenoblade... How did that patch work, and was it game-specific? I tried a revision with the Xenoblade 60 Hz patch with RE4, and it still ran with 50 Hz.

I think the Xenoblade patch was for the disc NOT the emu, also PAL60 probably doesn't work for some games.

But they don't run at 60Hz on the original hardware. Only some PAL games support PAL60.

Like extremedude2 said they patched the game not the emu, so yes it is game specific.

Kirby's Epic Yarn (PAL) runs in 60Hz for me (3.0 370 Lectrode).

OK, I managed to change the ISO to US format using a hex editor in the same way it was done for Xenoblade.

99 % of PAL games support PAL60, including those I mentioned. Dolphin is definitely NOT working like a real Wii for these games.

Including a "force 60 VPS" function would be a great feature. It can't be hard to do considering patching the ISO is this simple. I know we have the "force J-NTSC" function, but that does not work in this case.
