I just got dolphin 2.0 and the first game i play is pikim 2 for gamecube, i play that for about 2 hours and i save the game and go on to play super smash bros brawl for WII and the game saves fine. then i go back to play pikmin 2 and the game says, "the memory card in slot A is damaged and cannot be used." and i can choose to play without saving... is there anyway to fix this so i can go back to playing normally from where i left off?

Unfortunately I can't think of any fix for corrupted Memory Cards other than reverting back to an older card.

Ever since I was having problems with mine again, I keep regular backups of the most recent MC file working properly, in case corruption occurs again.

try memorycard manager>browse for memory card> fix checksums
backup memorycard first.

9 out of 10 times that never worked for me. Maybe it's bad luck, but I don't think it does any good when games state the card is corrupted or not formatted.

ah awesome i got it to work again, i took my pikmin 2 save out of the memory card and just placed it on my desktop then i took everything out of my GC folder. i started pikmin 2 it asked me if i wanted to format memory card A i said yes then when that was done i didn't play the game i exited and imported the pikmin 2 save that was on my desktop into the new memory card. I got my pikmin game saves back Big Grin

yes i had the same problem, but i used 5465 build suddenly it said my gc card is damaged..i started up dolphin 2.0 same game same gc card and it was working no damage error ,switching to 5465 still refused to read it ,didn't determined why.
Dolph 2.0 reads card for which 5465 says it's unreadable.. :-?
