Your benchmark : #1 & #2 are correct but the #3 is way too fast
The 3rd result is far superior to i5 3570K @ 5.0Ghz result ! (129FPS)
The yellow text is still there -> You capture that screenshot too fast , you should wait a bit more
You can check all benchmark in post #137

@nintendo_nerd - There is something seriously wrong with the 3rd screenshot. That specific yellow text (On-Screen Display messages) should only appear when you boot Dolphin. By the time you reach the Main Menu, it should be long gone. There's no way it should still be there after you select the correct save file and load the game. You should retake your results if you want them considered valid.

His first shot contains the boat and he seems to have moved in the second shot.
Could you redo those shots without moving and having the salesboat onscreen nintendo_nerd?

Ah dammit. I knew I screwed something up. How are the people who post here getting >60 fps >90 vps, etc? I set the frame rate limit to "off" instead of "auto" and didn't have v-sync. I followed the config guide, but if not, I apologize Sad

Yeah, I followed the performance guide, but if I follow it exactly, I only get 60 fps and not the speeds others are posting. What do I do?

I shouldn't have posted here; only made an idiot outta myself Undecided

The Dolphin 3.0 in the OP is a pre-configured version by Starscream , you should download that build and please don't change anything

Download the 3.0 build in the first post and don't change anything.

Edit: Ninja'd

Also use something like CPU-Z to check what your frequency is while playing dolphin. It may not be boosting all the way to 3.8 Ghz.

Just had a crazy thought - wouldn't it theoretically be possible to assemble a custom Ubuntu Live CD/USB specifically for Dolphin benchmarking? This way you'd be guaranteed to have the same software environment.
Dolphin 5.0 CPU benchmark

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 4.5GHz 1.24v
GPU: Intel integrated
RAM: 4x4GB Corsair Vengence @ DDR3-1600
OS: Linux Mint of some variety + [VM] Win7 SP1 x64

I did download his pre-configured build, but I probably changed something by accident. If the FPS limit is set to "auto" and not limited or whatever, how are people getting higher than 60 fps?

Framelimit is off in the pre-configured build. It is also setup to be as cpu dependent as it can. Download it again if you have changed a bunch of stuff.
