Hi friends,

Pls, I've downloaded the latest version of Dolphin and does not work well. The only version that works pretty well for me is the 3.5

I do not understand why the latest version give many problems. I would like to know if any of you have the same problem.

Thanks in advance.

Since your profile is vague it would be beneficial to list more detailed specs of your computer. i.e. specific processor and speed, ram amount, video card model.

I seem to remember something being wrong with Dolphin on Vista. Don't know if it was fixed...

Those specs are pretty bad for Dolphin.

Dolphin is a dual core application that relies heavily on single-core speeds on the CPU. Your CPU, which is from 2007, is underpowered when it comes to Dolphin due to low single-core speeds.

You should look into getting a new computer if you want to play Dolphin at/near full speed. Intel CPUs are currently the best for Dolphin (and the PS2 emulator PCSX2). 4th gen being the best, 3rd gen being second best.

A desktop with and overclockable CPU is the ideal setup for Dolphin. An i5-4670k and a Z87 motherboard is what we recommend to most people.

If you want a laptop, look for a gaming laptop with an i7-4700MQ and a dedicated GPU.

Try messing with some settings to find something that is playable for you.

Wish you luck in future emulation.
