I am having Wierd issues with The Last Story. On the latest 3.5 and now 4.0, I have significant slowdowns with D3D11. It works better with OpenGL but not quite all the way. I have plenty of hardware:

I5 "K" 3.4 OC to 4.5
AMD 6850
ASUS Sabertooth V87
8GB
Latest Drivers

ISO burned from my good copy, I am using default settings, but anything I try doesnt help...

Any help would be appreiciated.

Rob

Your hardware is too slow. There is no solution. The Last Story is a game that cannot be run at fullspeed on any currently existing hardware.

The game is one of the most, if not the most demanding to emulate.

There are a lot of games much more demanding than Xenoblade though

Fixed post. The Last Story is known to be the worst offender.

I am O.C. to 4.6. I have made a few minor adjustments and when I use OpenGL I get almost full speed now. Just a few of the "tutorial" screens slow to around 27fps. Everything so far (up to chapter 11), is acceptable... D3D11 however is terrible, even with my AMD 6850 OC to 850 MHZ on the GPU.
