Hello people, back in the day when I was using Dolphin 3.5 quite a while ago, I tried to play The Last Story only to be encountered by some pretty annoying fps drops..what I was wondering is if this game could be played at good speeds now considering the notable speed-ups that the latest builds have been showing, my CPU is an i5 3570k OCed to 3.8GHz.

What is the best possible configuration I could have? Atlernatively what's a better CPU I could get? 4790k?

I'm running a 3470 and radeon 6870 and I get drops regardless of resolution which is weird. 480p and 3x internal res with 2x AA and per pixel lighting run almost exactly the same.

Game doesn't even consistently run at full speed on an actual Wii (unless mine's finally starting to crap out on me)

I mean, some parts do fine but others will just stress the poor thing.. I dunno, maybe it is my Wii dying..

Well maybe it's just one of those games that doesn't run full speed no matter the specs?

You can get to pretty much the same framerate as a real Wii with a heavily overclocked Haswell chip, but it still won't be fullspeed throughout (but, as mentioned, it isn't 60FPS on the Wii, so it's not so terrible)

I tried it again yesterday and while some parts do run smoother than others (comparing the 3.5 build to this one it still has fps drops of around 10 fps at moments, my game is PAL version so it runs at 30 fps. Either way while I technically COULD play the game like that but meh
