I highly doubt the emulator is emulating the game correctly. The game still slows down even in tiny areas.

I get 30 fps in small areas. The game slows down with more objects to render and that's just performance issues, not incorrect emulation. The real problem is the sound. They need some way to sync it with video or we'll never get anything enjoyable at less than 100% speed. Even a real Wii has problems with it 08-25-2012, 08:24 PM

Trying to run NA version of Last Story, have is at 2x Native with Fullscreen 1920x1080 at full 30 FPS (I'm able to run Xenoblade perfectly with Lectrode Dolphin-3.0-508-gf30aebf_XBHLE31_PresRes_L102_x64_ICC)
I too am having issues with the game crashing, the screen going black with audio still going, and FMV stutters... I also noticed that the when I exit after the black screen, there's a "display driver crash" notification in the system tray. Have tried multiple builds and settings... Don't want to go to the trouble of the LLE route to see if that works, but would like to play without the crashes. Will probably just wait until someone has something stable that works for me :/ Edit: Spoke too soon, updated my Display drivers and that seemed to fix it. No crashes yet! 08-26-2012, 01:00 PM
Hello, everyone! Just got this game loaded up and it seems really good (from the first few minutes i've played). I cannot STAND the waggle controls and void them whenever possible. I read you can use the classic controller, but don't know how to get this work. My standard controller works is SSBB, or is there something specific to the Classic controller?

The Last Story doesn't actually have any waggle controls, but the Classic Controller is, in my opinion, more confortable than using the Wiimote+Nunchuk. Just plug in the Classic Controller and you're good to go. I would also suggest turning Auto-attack off, which allows you to attack manually by pressing A.

Thanks! Found the option under "Emulated Wiimote" for the classic controller and mapped the controls to my Xbox 360 controller. So much more enjoyable! I don't see how anyone would want to play this with the auto attack on!

Quote: I don't see how anyone would want to play this with the auto attack on!There's an advantage to having auto-attack on. You'll deal (much) more damage with it enabled. 08-28-2012, 06:29 AM
So I jsut got this game as well. I must say I cant play with the Audio set to LLE. It plays all slow like but I'm definitely not having FPS problems. I sad to say that HLE runs at full speed and is a lot more tolerable of course your not hearing the full range of instruments in it but it runs at speed and in sync. I can play this game fine at 16x AF and 4x native res so far. I am using Dolphin rev.735-dirty. It jsut sounds SO much better with LLE sound but it really doesn't work properly. Its a shame.
