I also using the same Dolphin and it works the best for me, when it likes to freeze I save first and second state and when one is down then second working, but for now I got worse problem, I cant pass second necromancer, I reload this place 3 times till I got freeze. I will try it tomorrow or see some walkthrough on YT.
I'm actually in 19 chapter and I don't got more freezes then usual, and when I save constantly about 5 minutes then it freeze even less.
Specifications:
OS: Windows 7 ultimate x64
Mainboard: Asus p8p67 pro
CPU: i5 2500k 3.3ghz @4.5ghz
GPU: GTX 560 Ti Gigabyte
ram: 2x2gb dual + 2x2gb dual (8gb) 1600mhz
Sound: Xonar D2
2 wiimotes + nunchucks and sensor bar

if it doesn't hang on fifo it will hang on hle..
fixing both is out of my reach,it can be hacked or fixed but both require a LOT of work and time.

Well noone is on the rush i believe.If you have the skills pls do it whenever you can that game realy deserves to be seen on PC with the graphics improvement that emulator provides without crashes Smile Just do it little by little when you got time.

Nice saved data corrupted lost 6 hours using Dolphin-r6505_DKTOS_MH3_FifoBsy_L8_x64.Was on chapter 20.Sigh gonna go back to syndicate

Probably last attempt:
a lot of LLE changes and JIT

This build requires LLE to play.
But its edited to be fast!
Although It still requires some CPU speed

I have tested on Phenom x4 965 @stock speed 3.4ghz
Ati 4870

Test performed in the most critical areas of game where it was hanging.
Also tested on ship in chapter 14 thanks to save game from @NearlyNothing
It showed excellent results.
Please try your self

P.S I do not provide dsp_coef.bin and dsp_rom.bin which are required for LLE
So don't ask!

Jit+LLE required!No HLE
fps limmit 30
I recommend OpenGL for better graphic.
Texture to RAM for missing textures.Or not if your PC can't handle it.
I have provided some basics settings included in ini's all you need is to setup gamepad /or what ever u use to play with,setup path to your dumped game and add bins for LLE.
This is x64bit ONLY i won't be compiling x32
This LLE should be working very fast.

Edit: Am I doing something wrong? When I open dolphin.exe, the window is just unresponsive, just hangs there.

@Iceman:

I'm very interested in trying your build, but when I open it it doesn't respond and I pretty much have to force it to close?
I did put the LLE files in there, but the program hangs on startup, not even when starting the game :/
EDIT: to clarify, the dolphin window/GUI opens up, but I can't click anything without it hanging.

I have an amd 955 @3.2, so if this build works well for you it should be almost as good for me, I'd hope? Any way to get around the hanging issue?

yes my bad
delete dolphin.ini from User\Config\ folder it should be fine
although u will have to config dolphin your self

battles are bit intensive on fight with tiger on stock 3.4gz i can get max 75% cpu speed with texture to ram.other parts of game run at full speed.
But considering that its LLE its good.
I am not fan of OC-ing ;-)

Thanks for the quick reply ^^

Sadly, it seems I'll have to wait for my next processor or something, I don't even reach 25 fps in the very first tutorial fight, which I know isn't even close to one of the more demanding spots.
EDIT:
Huh? So the start of the game you keep close to 30fps? Am I possibly doing something wrong then? I don't even get that with HLE and texture to ram off O.O

is your 955 unlocked for 4 cores ?or default just 2 cores?
that might be difference
i also have ddr3 board
game is working at full 30 fps except :town area is most demanding it goes to 22-24fps 85%
battles somewhat same or bit less 75-85%

I use OpengGL sse3 plugin
and LLE

x64 have uber speed over x32 no point in even trying it.Anyone with higher PC already have win7x64 so i won't be compiling x32

later i might try to optimize code bit more to squeeze few more frames ..but not now.
This build should provide basic stable gameplay.
