There are a number of issues I'm going through with this. First, if I save a state and the emulator crashes (it does this almost every 30 minutes on the dot) I can't reload a save, because when I get control, the camera goes haywire:

Also I get this noise whenever I pick up a weapon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTWyvJzc04s

Save states are useless to me, this happens if I try to reload a state after the emulator has crashed and been restarted, I'm not touching the controls at all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DO7bVsPz028

Let's throw random audio getting garbled like this into the mix!! http://youtu.be/9-MJgFhBF8A

My settings are attached. All this on an i5-4690k overclocked to 4.5ghz and a geforce 760. Dolphin 4.0-3721 - tried numerous other versions and had trouble getting the game to even start. This game is great but having crashes every 30 minutes (as if on cue) are making things hell for me. I feel like I've played the equivelant of three games because all the crashing and having to load from a saved game and not a state are really dragging things down.

You're using JITIL. There are so many things wrong with the settings I don't know what to say.

The wiki page for the game says to use JITL: "The game seems to freeze when no input is detected or the game goes idle for a while. This is caused by the CPU thread being out of sync with the GPU thread. Set CPU emulator engine to JITIL and locking threads to core reduces the occurrence greatly."

I've adjusted everything listed to do in the wiki. Also doesn't 4.0 have a list of settings that are optimal for each game?

Yes, switch over to JIT, use HLE audio instead of LLE, set full screen resolution to auto, and disable cheats

As for the wiki page, it hasn't been updated in about 2 years. JIT is fine now

I hate the wiki sometimes. Not your fault if you followed the information there! I'll let someone know that it's painfully outdated.
