Uhm the game runs well, except that I am getting constant freezes of the screen (while the music keeps on going). Used a version from yesterday and one from today, no changes. I also used the standard settings, but also different ones, nothing has changed.

Same here, Quantico. I get a freeze after the first tactical screen and subsequent fight. DX9, HLE

make sure you guys enable the japanese game option in wii tab, it still plays w/o it but that might cause some problem

I switched the sound to DSP-LLE which fixed the freeze problem for me. However the sound is worse and the performance seemed worse as well.

LLE didn't fix it for me, what backend did you use?
It also made it slower and the sound was worse.
If you guys are having trouble with it freezing use either EFB scale 2x or 3x (1x works but looks like crap) and make sure you have load native mipmaps checked on, tested on dx 9 with dle, BTW I have had zero problems with sound and ive only seen as low as 17fps when all the chracters are on screen
It's slower with IL, to run with JIT, have 2x EFB scale, enable mipmaps and enable EFB scale copy but do not activate CPU > EFB access for best speed, with DSP HLE and no audio throttle ( I saw 11fps turn into 17fps when i disabled it) RAM w/ cache progressive scan everything else off r6900 |
