i think i will buy a Core2 duo E8400 Because 1 Alien ware and i7 won't Make dolphin better than core2duo preform as i have heard and it *might be* Expensive.
Some one wants to Recommend a Monitor? LCD Samsung doesn't give enough Resolution For True HD. 10-18-2009, 07:39 AM
Dude..
Dude build your own, or buy the parts and have someone do it for you your going to be wasting allot of money buying a pre-built system or a laptop. That graphics card is outdated and most laptops are struggling to keep up as far as graphics cards go. Building a computer is super easy. But of course if you think you can't handle it, than dont, get someone to do it for you. You need a fast CPU and a really good Graphics card. Dont underestimate your graphics card. You can get great graphics cards for like $150 -$200 with 1gb ram and fast clock speeds. (1gb GPU ram is good for high resolutions, textures.. etc.) Even if you get a pre-built system. Get it with good specs and change out the graphics card later. Monitor - Anything with 2ms response time. 5ms is acceptable but not as great. (check Newegg.com for stuff even if you can't buy from there) ASUS VW246H Black 24" 2ms .. might be a little big for you? but its BANGIN!! . I have an E8400 and it rocks. The Q9550 Quad Core (4 CPU's at 2.8GHZ) <--i suggest this....is cheap now too at only $220. 8 GB's of G.Skill Ram will cost you $100. (4 sticks of 2gb each) A good motherboard from Asus or Gigabyte will run you $120-$150 500 - 1000 GB(1tb) Sata Hard-Drive $80. Great Case with good cooling = $80 (Cooler Master) Nvidia GTX 260 = GeForce GTX 260 896MB DDR3 - $180 or Radeon HD 4890 = 1gb ram Core Clock: 965MHz - $220 (there are cheaper cards that are decent too) Power supply = $80-$120 That is still under $100 without mouse/keyboard monitor etc. Lol allot less than $2500 even after adding more + operating system.

you forgot i wanted a lap top... lol
i really hate having very big stuff taking 3.5% of my Room and last thing i heard of , Quad Cores doesn't work as good as E8400 on dolphin plus Selling my Current PC would give me a Lite PC (AKA Laptop) and Less Wires don't you think ... This what i plan to buy hopefully gives me 30-40-50-60 NO less in Non Buggy games while using True HD Resolution E8400 Core2Duo Geforce9800 Windows Vista Ultimate 4 gb of ram Or 2 GB P.S: Is windows Vista Ultimate laggy? thanks.
get 7 ultimate, it's Much Better
Edit: I'm sure you can wait 4 days for it too be released
