Hey everyone, I'm posting today because I brought an Nvidia Shield TV few months ago and I am stillunable to run Dolphin correctly.

Here's, the problems that I encountered and some questions :

1. It's impossible to run a GC Game who fit the screen, it's only in 4:3 no matter what you choose on Dolphin settings. Am I the only one who have this problem?

2. I saw a lot of videos on this YT channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/FreeEmulatorVideos , he's able to launch correctly MKWII at full speed or close too and this video was published 8 months ago ! When I launch MKWII, it is slow (like 15 - 20 fps) and unplayable, I tried some several settings but nothing changed.

3. What's wrong with the controller mapping ?! It was included before and now it's not, I still have my ini file so it's ok but I can't understand why this feature has been removed. Devs probably have a good reason but I would like to know what's happen actually

4. How many people are working on the Android version? It seems that not so lot of, I can't see a lot of changes since few months and I'm sure that if a team will work harder on it, they can bring a really great version of Dolphin, well optimized for android devices.

5. Does someone can tell me how to correctly configure the emulator for android shield TV to run as much games as possible? Is there any configuration file that I can modify to improve the performances ?

Thanks for reading me everyone! Hope some of you will give me some answers Smile

That's accurate behavior. Most GC games can't either.

I think he played it on faster (desktop) hardware. The shield android TV is still a low-power device.

Sigmabeta was going to rewrite our android config system. The old one was really bad, so we've merged it in an early stage. Bad luck, he seems to be busy, so the rewrite wasn't completed.

4. How many people are working on the Android version? It seems that not so lot of, I can't see a lot of changes since few months and I'm sure that if a team will work harder on it, they can bring a really great version of Dolphin, well optimized for android devices.

I'm working on the arm64 JIT a few times per year. Sigmabeta was the last one to work on the android GUI. SonicAdvance had to stop working on it. I think that's all...
And indeed, there is still a lot of low-hanging-fruits for performance, but don't expect eg MKWii run fullspeed on the android shield. This device is just too slow.

5. Does someone can tell me how to correctly configure the emulator for android shield TV to run as much games as possible? Is there any configuration file that I can modify to improve the performances ?

There are some hacks like underclocking the emulated CPU. But in the end, it's almost fine as it is. Feel free to also upload your gameinis, but this usually just slow down the emulation (but fixes some issues).
