Yeah but online multiplayer is rarely cracked. That's why Ubisoft tried to do that for assassin's creed 2, they figured they could use the same kind of scenario there is on online multiplayer to play single player, preventing piracy. But the problem is the connection isn't REALLY required to single player mode, just they made the software require it, and software can aways be cracked. Again, cloud gaming?
