I hope you have a 2560x1600 monitor for testing.I don't have hardly any problems with a 5870 and i7 920 at 3.4ghz but do at 2560.

Standing in the doorway to the main plaza of the Chozo Ruins in Metroid Prime from the main entrance side, (the big room that slows to a crawl)

I get 46 frames per second
This is with 2500k at 4.5 and 1600 9-9-9-27 1t ram
using lectrode SSE 4.2 build 6839

Im running 1920x1080, texture to ram, intergral, no aa, bilinear filtering and 16 anios filtering enabled, fog disabled

My old q6600 at 3.56 got about 28 frames per second. I call that a speedup.

No, I don't but I didn't have much of a problem running the games with my old rig. Wink

Would you please make a save state with the latest version of Dolphin (r6950)?

I thought that 60 frames would be possible but 46 frames is still a good improvement.

did you expect to get more fps than that with texture to ram?

I've got today i5 2500 k and tested few games, it gives without oc about 20-40% more performance from quad q9550 @3.2ghz. On Samurai Warriors 3 now I get all the time 25-24fps even with aa4x, now I plan to test Final Fantasy Cristal Bearers and Avatar 2007 where I got big slowdowns and lags.

Edit:
I've tested Final Fantasy Crystal Bearer and it works much better almost all time 100%, lags only while after saving. Avatar 2007 also works much better, but I cant tested place that most slows before (40% speed).
Specifications:
OS: Windows 7 ultimate x64
Mainboard: Asus p8p67 pro
CPU: i5 2500k 3.3ghz @4.5ghz
GPU: GTX 560 Ti Gigabyte
ram: 2x2gb dual + 2x2gb dual (8gb) 1600mhz
Sound: Xonar D2
2 wiimotes + nunchucks and sensor bar
