Tested Freedreno Turnip Mesa Vulkan drivers on Dolphin

Hi,

I compiled myself via Temux Freedreno Turnip Vulkan drivers with tutorial  by samantas5855 from XDA and installed as system drivers via Magisk on friend Unlocked Poco F3 with GPU OC to 925MHz and my Xiaomi Mi 10T 925Mhz/940MHz GPU OC.

Vulkan 1.2.204 with latest VK Extensions from ARM.

Tested Medroid Prime in 5X resolution in Dolphin development build 5.0-16036 at that time.

What is it Turnip Vulkan drivers ?
Freedreno is the open-source, reverse-engineered project implementing a fully open-source driver for Qualcomm's Adreno graphics hardware. Freedreno consists of the MSM DRM driver, the xf86-video-freedreno DDX, and the Freedreno Gallium3D driver inside Mesa.

They plan in 2022 enable Ray Tracing for Adreno 7Xx series GPUs so SD8G1 and beyond.
 

Performance is almost 1:1 , Qualcomm drivers jump up to 48-50fps but have massive drops after that to 40-42fps. Turnip has stable 43-45fps in 3K with performance of SD888.
1080p runs full speed on both drivers.

Hello, any update on this?

I have Mi11 with one year and a half old drivers.

However, freedreno got Opengl 4.5 compliant lately. It is also ES 3.2 compliant

Unfortunately, while Turnip being 1.3 uilkan compliant, their vulkan extension do not match what original Adreno drivers supports.
