Holla amigos,

I'd like to dedicate this thread to all Note 3 dolphin-android related matters, specifically the N9005 which is the snapdragon 800 variant. Feel free to participate if you have any input and requests.

As far as my testing goes for build 4.0-1340 I can only get anything to show on screen if I'm in software render mode. Now, I've been out of the loop for a while but I'm sure that GL ES is meant to work so if anyone can enlighten me on how to get it to work that would be much appreciated ^^

hey man now that 4.4 is rolling out to note 3(nice and slow obviously) that may fix the not being able to play with opengl, on my g2 I was only able to use opengl on build 4.0-427 and after the 4.4 I am able to play on any build with opengl

Oh no, don't do this to me man xD

I was avoiding the 4.4 upgrade because of the write restrictions they put on the SD card. Now you've put me in a bad position, do I fight the power or do I get Dolphin to work...

If you root you can easily get around the SD Card restriction. :-)

Well lets leave it to a simple question, how much do you rely on your ad card

Yea it was a hunch but since 4.4 bring new video drivers, it had to be it and well you can always root, I am on a different device but if you want a little help just let me know

I know I would find it difficult and very restrictive to live without root. I don't see an issue after all you have control over which apps you grant root access :-)

So, I have a little update.

I've just tested build 1407 and I'm finally able to get in game on Naruto - GNT 4. Previously it would just crash before the TOMY screen but now I've been able to get fully in game, however the crazy glitch is still there...

I have n9005. I have been testing Kelly Slater Pro Surfer. I just updated to 4.4.2. And now that the landscape issue is fixed the game is running surprisingly well with build 1413!

First off the fully 3d engine beginning where the camera is walking through the inside of a ship hits 50fps

In game it drops to about 8-14fps but still is amazing. There probably will never be another surfing game as polished this, and mobile surfing games are a absolute joke of unplaybility. There just isn't enough money in these games. And this is the best version much better looking lighting the ps2.

Some stretched textures are the only problem I really see. I also seem to have to set efb copys to texture but I could of had some unlucky runs when the menu wouldn't get off the screen, fine now though
