Terms & Phrases being mentioned that do not exist

First of all if staff quit locking topics it wouldn't be necessary to create more of the same ones.

Anyway there are all these terms being mentioned in various topics and replies as well as game configurations and yet there is nothing that explains anything about them.
For example Eternal Darkness says to get rid of the black menu you need to enable the "Custom Projection Hack"
The problem with that is there is no such thing as "Custom Projection Hack" in any part of the 4.0-4006 version of the Dolphin making it impossible to get rid of the black screen at the main menu of Eternal Darkness

Hasn't it occurred to anyone to pin a topic that has an entire list of phrases and terms that outright state what all these terms mean and where exactly in the emulator you can find them and that way at least people could use that topic as a reference so every time they have a question about a term or phrase. For example if Custom Projection Hack has been removed then that should be in the topic next to "Custom Projection Hack" as shown.

We removed the option from the emulator. You can still add in projection hacks through the INI files as the functionality exists. It's meant for advanced users. Stop making a billion new threads on the topic. We're attempting to fix the bug behind the black screen rather than using stupid hacks, that's why the hacks are removed in the first place. If we don't remove them, people keep using the hacks and don't report issues, etc.

There is a thread SPECIFICALLY for handling INIs already, and I'm sure that has whatever answers your seek.

If you have a problem with outdated terms, don't look up outdated threads. If you're confused about an option, ask about it, that's what the forums are for.

Also, please don't make multiple threads about the subject, your other thread in General Discussion was sufficient for addressing these issues.
