I looked around and didn't see any threads on this so I guess I'll make a new one.

Is there any sort of support for Terminal in Linux? If not, is there some way I could work around this to launch games from XBMC? I have XBMC launching Dolphin very well with Advanced Launcher in Windows 8, but I want to transfer over to Xubuntu so I'm trying to find a way to get everything set up.
Desktop:

Dolphin Revision:3.0, 3.0-784, 3.5, latest 3.5

Terminal support, as in launching Dolphin (and a game) from the CLI? It's nearly the same as on Windows. Just use the -e parameter and specify the path to your disc image. You can easily script your games to run like this:

Code:
dolphin-emu -e /path/to/disc_image

If XBMC has the ability to launch other programs, use that command.

Yep, that is exactly what I was looking for. I could only find support for Windows CLI stuff so I figured it probably wasn't included with Dolphin. This will make setting up XBMC much simpler.

Thanks!
