On the oooooold Dolphin version I used ages ago, Win-x64-v3.0-873, there is a plain option that allows me to select a given fps, and the audio is unaffected. Setting it to 30 (default is 25 for Tenkaichi 3 on Wii) made the game smoother, a tad faster, and the only audio issue I have is that the character selection sound has a crackle.

Now I'm running the latest dev build, and I can only increase the fps whilst also having the audio sped up. That ain't good. How do I get the game to run at a higher framerate (CPU has enough grunt, running Vulkan Big Grin), sans the squeaky voices?

Well, you can set the speed setting from 100% to 120%. You'll probably get some squeaky voices, since playing a 25 fps game at 30 fps (aka 125% of the regular speed), will speed up the sound. The old Dolphin builds didn't have the audio and video synchronized, which caused a bunch of issue (go read through some of the blog posts on the home page if you want to know more about the details).

Or in Dolphin you can set the CPU clock override to a higher number. This would be like running an overclocked Wii, which if Tenkaichi 3 runs an unlocked fps, should increase the speed to 30 fps. However, this will increase the load on your computer CPU since it now needs to emulate a more powerful "overclocked" Wii.
