Benchmarks on the Shield console appears online.
We can now confirm the A57/A53 CPU.

It was confirmed by Nvidia since months and Nvidia update this page since days http://www.nvidia.com/object/tegra-x1-processor.html

Not really, since the A57 + the GPU is not even near the 40w TDP nvidia is giving us.
So nothing was confirmed.
Now you say they can't change there own chip lol!

Euh there is no 40W TDP. There is 40W adaptater.
Max power consumption is 20W.

Using Kwee's build (despite it being a 32-bit only build), without OC, I got between 20-30fps on Zelda - Twilight Princess (GC) for the start area, and generally between 10-20fps everywhere else. Compared to SHIELD tablet running the same settings, which almost always got half. I'm trying to build a local build, since without ATV support, it's *very* difficult to configure and work with, but not having the best of luck. Sad

If I get a 64-bit build working, I'll give an update on how it performs.

Side note:
I hope some one will make custom kernel for it to overclock CPU/GPU clock speeds or even disable the 4 slower cores.
Since i made a mistake about the 40w thing it left a lot of headroom to overclock this little machine.
That will also change the performance in dolphin to increase framerate between 3% and a max of 15% depending on clock speed and the game.
One thing is for sure, i gonna buy this machine!

GC games will work full speed on new NVIDIA SHIELD.

But..I don't think Crysis 3 port runs 1080p@60fps. Maybe it will runs 1080p@30fps, AND, it's a port, and it means that it can be modified to have less quality than the original. Worst textures, effects, shadows, reflections, particles...etc

I do not think Crysis 3 for Android will be exactly like the original.
