tatsunoku 2nd controller not working

i have 2 360 controllers, but i cannot get the 2nd controller to be detected ingame. its detected in the dolphin configs...

when i start the game it says 2nd player cant connect with a gamecube pad plugged in.

how do i disable the GC pad?
