I dont want to autohide the taskbar. Isnt there a way to have dolphin emulator Always on top? Do you mean the dolphin icon on the windows taskbar? that doesn't resolve the issue. It would be nice if Dolphin had an always on top option. 11-29-2010, 02:22 AM
Does no one else have this problem of the taskbar sitting atop dolphin? I am quite surprised.

franciz thank you for that solution it does work. I would like as an enhancement request a feature to have Dolphin always on top. I am trying to run dolphin with hyperspin-fe and dolphin always goes to the background.

I noticed something. I am currently using 1920x1080 resolution. When I change the size of the text in windows 7 from smaller to larger that is when the taskbar stays on top of the dolphin emulator. if I set it to normal text size, the taskbar is beneath the emulator. This must be a bug.

Nice one for finding it tho =D another suggestion I would've done is trying to change the 'run in main window' setting of dolphin to on or off, and seeing if that made any difference.

Thanks. I created a new issue 3590. Hopefully the devs can push out a quick fix.

hey all, i was having the same problem and i fixed it. i see some of these posts are from a few years ago but since theres no solution posted i'll give mine. partial credit to monkeysez for pointing out that changing font size helped. you need to set dolphin to disable display scaling on high resolutions, right click on the shortcut/exe and go to compatibility and check the option to disable display scaling, this killed the taskbar on top for me.
