TAS Video comes out distorted

I'm new to TASing so sorry if this is a simple answer.

I changed all my settings to what I think they should be (no audio output, dump files, etc), I make my TAS, and I save the input recording. The Dump works correctly with the audio, but the video is, I guess stretched. Any help?

I added audio and video and sync'd them together, and the start is just a black screen.

What format are you dumping the video as? Have you tried uncompressed? Also, there's no need to dump audio and video separately anymore as far as I know.

They're still stored to separate files even if you dump them at the same time.

I know; he said "no audio output" when he specified his settings, so I figured he was doing it separately. It might have been my misunderstanding, though.

No audio output means that you won't hear anything while playing. It doesn't affect the dumping IIRC.

There are certain games that are not dumped correctly in Dolphin despite displaying right.

Edit: The bug you're showing usually means the aspect ratio has changed while recording. Try forcing Dolphin to 4:3.

This definitely improved it, but the video plays at twice its normal speed, but i can just edit it so its half speed anyway (normal speed).
There's also a bar at the bottom stuck from the character select screen, but it gave me an error saying the aspect ratio changed during recording (which i didn't do) and will most likely be broken. I'll just make a tas in 4:3 and see if it's normal. Thank you for the help!
