Okay, I've searched throughout this whole forum for an answer but have gotten only minor tidbits that haven't completely helped. Not sure if there was a thread that already answered this, but I haven't seen it. So, I'll just ask directly. Sorry if there was and this is an unnecessary post.

Graphics wise, the game is always running properly and smoothly. The problem is that it moves so slow. Opening runs at an even 60fps which is fine, town movement at 35-39fps, overworld at 21-25fps. All of which is pretty tolerable.... except the fighting at 30-33fps. Kinda game breaking since the battles are what makes this game awesome among others, well, for me. I've followed 'optimal settings' shown in other topics but it's still moving at the same speed. Downloading older revisions didn't work. Currently have the newest one.

Specs:
Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M 330 @ 2.13Ghz
2GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 (1GB)

So, is there anyway to speed this up, or should I just chalk it up to my computer's lack of power? Thanks in advance. Smile

This is the first ToS right?
I've done some research and apparently using the direct 3d plugin and enabling efb to texture helps a bit. I'm still trying to play around and get the sound fixed >=O

Yup, the first one. Thanks for the tip. Direct 3d got it up to 38-41fps. Tried playing around with framelimit, and it did get to 60, but it kinda spazzes out between 30-60.
