So I am playing Symphonia currently and everytime I get to the city of Flanoir or fight the Celsius boss the game just randomly crashes. I am not that great with computers so if someone is quiet knowledgeable it would be great if I can talk to them on there free time via PMs or Skype.

Do you mean the Wii or GC game for ToS?

Check the official pages for settings, recommended revisions and known issues.

For the GC game, click here:

For the Wii game, click here:

You can also ask for help there. That is where game specific requests go. Also if you do post, you may want to read the rules first and include all required information such as system specs and revision used. Good luck Smile

That was my fault, I gave you an outdated link. Try this one:

The best thing to do is to try the latest revisions. 3.5 is already over 4 months old; that doesn't seem like much, but we've had a tremendous amount of changes going on recently. An issue with Flanoir City specifically for ToS (GC) was fixed after 3.5 as the link haddock posted indicates, and a host of other changes may have resolved various other crashes. You can download the latest revision here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download

Nintendo_nerd reported the same issue some time ago here on the forums.

The solution is to simply download and use the latest build as suggested by Shonumi above, but if you prefer to use 3.5, then you can avoid the crashes by disabling Dual Core. This will slow down your emulation speed a bit.

I got over this by setting skip frame to maximum(9). It still sometimes crashes, but it still works much better, so I recommend searching for a walkthrough and just finish the neccesary business with frame skip at maximum and never visit the accursed city again.

Noooo. Don't spoil the game by reading a walkthrough. The solution is as I said above; simply download the latest development version on the official website. (See my sig)
