The game keeps freezing. I guess I'm not too far into it, but I'd like to get past it.

Freezing in Hima, above is a screenshot of where it's freezing.

Try using the latest developmental build. Several freezing issues should be fixed by now.

Also, please post questions like these in the official game thread in the future: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-gc-tales-of-symphonia--25820

It's doing the same things. I copied my settings from 3.5 (since they were working well). Should I use the default settings?

Post the settings that you tried to use, preferably as screenshots. There could be something wrong with them. I recently got past Hima a few weeks back without any issue.

Two other things you could try: disable cheats if you're using them and use in-game saving via the emulated memory card rather than save states.

Here's the settings as I have them set up in the latest developmental build.

Dolphin Config

Advanced: http://puu.sh/2Pam6.png

I'm trying out a different ISO of the game, maybe the current one I've been using is bad. idk. I've been using in-game saving the entire time; I've had bad luck with Save States and tend to shy away from them.

EDIT: Same thing happens even on a new ISO. Raine uses "Ressurection" then it just sits there. The characters still blink, and the fire in the background still moves, but that's it.

Don't copy your settings from 3.5 to the latest build (3.5-1335) as the latest build might produce a (slightly) different ini. Delete the User/Config folder and let it create the files for you again, then try the game with the default settings.

It's quite possible that things might've been broken in the latest builds again.
Try to disable Dual Core (performance hit) and see if you can get past Hima. Otherwise try an earlier build. (3.5-135 is when the freezing issues got fixed)

Default settings did nothing, neither did disabling Dual Core. I'll try using 3.5-135 real quick and see how that goes.

EDIT: 3.5-135 didn't work, either.

EDIT2: I went back to Izoold and had Max take me across the ocean. I guess we'll see if the issue resolves its self when I'm forced to go to Hima instead of me going on my own.
