You linked the download page so you should have read the thing that said "The development versions require the 64-bit Visual C++ redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 to be installed." with a link to it.

That's true. Why can't we go back to being self contained again. I saw that post you linked but I still don't get why we can't just do that.
