EDIT: Misleading thread title. The issue is not RNG related.
I've been recording some SUPER SMASH BROS. Melee input videos, so that I could study my mistakes and such, and perhaps adding to my YouTube channel. Dolphin does a really good job at playing back the footage, with the exception of one thing: RNG. For whatever reason, the RNG decided in the playback is not the same as the RNG that actually took place.
For example, my opponent and I fought on Pokémon Stadium. After some time, the RNG is called to determine how the stage will change form. In the actual fight, the stage turned to fire, and that was fine, but in the recording, it changed to grass, but with our fire stage strategy inputs. The result was nearly every attack missing and my opponent constantly SDing off the stage, causing me to win in the playback, even though I lost the match in reality.
The same thing happened later when we chose a random stage. In the recording, Battlefield was chosen, but we really fought on Final Destination. It was a huge mess.
Is there a simple fix I'm overlooking?
