Switch Pro Controller Randomly not working

To use the switch pro controller I've been opening dolphin through steam but one day that no longer worked when I went to XInput/0/Gampad none of my controller inputs worked. Whats happening is dolphin is using the desktop configurations from steam and it sees my controller as a keyboard and mouse and I have no idea how to stop it any help would be appreciated

I having a similar issue to yours; however there is some consistency that I have found in my issue.

My Switch Pro Controller [Wired] works with other programs as well as Dolphin: Steam and RetroArch. All three I use the controller separately: I don’t use Dolphin through Steam. When I use the controller on Steam or RetroArch, the controller’s Home button glows a solid blue color. This stays that way indefinitely until I reset it by pressing the tiny button on top of the controller. When it comes to Steam or RetroArch, the controller never disconnects. The opposite is true for Dolphin.

Dolphin does not turn on the blue Home light from the controller but it still connects to the emulator… for a certain amount of time. At any random point, the emulator stutters for a frame and completely disconnects the controller. Sometimes, I’m in the middle of moving a character and the disconnect locks the character into moving the last directional input it registered. Unplugging and replugging the controller won’t do anything, I have to reset the whole emulator to get the controller to reconnect. All GameCube games I’ve played were subject to these disconnects, and I’m really losing my patience. Sometimes I can only play for five minutes before the controller disconnects, I then have to save state, and reset Dolphin.
