I'd love to see new features in Dolphin about the controls.
If you're on Xbox 360 controller, Dualshock 3, or some kind of controller for pc, you were told to use certain control mode in wii games, such as hold wiimote horizontally, use nunchuck, or classic and you mapped one kind to your controller...
In this example, you will be using wiimote in horizontal mode mapped on your PS3 controller and play Kirby: Returns to the Dreamland.
When you've reached to certain area in kirby game, it will tell you to switch wiimote position mode into VERTICAL.
Suddenly you'll have to re-configure your PS3 controller to wiimote in vertical mode and then resume your kirby game. And re-configure again when wiimote in vertical mode is over.
Would you rather to have one special kind of button on your controller (or hotkey) that will switch your controller between profiles without having to re-configure your controller every time game asked you to do so?
Well, I would want to see that new feature about switching control profiles during in-game.
