Lightweight games works without any trouble with Dolphin (especially old versions) in almost any ultra low power CPU from Intel (assuming it's a Ivy Bridge or Haswell)

I'm willing to bet your friend was running an older version of dolphin where options like efb copy to ram and LLE hadn't been forced on in the game .ini yet.

Its also work noting that the latest sku of the Surface 2 has had a processor bump from the 4200u to the 4300u which increases the base clock from 1.6 to 1.9 and the burst speed from 2.6 to 2.9. Its still not going to run demanding games easily but an 18% bump in the base clock is not to be sniffed at.

I've not picked one up yet but Im thinking about getting a surface 2 pro as a tablet instead of my ipad air. Just need to check them out in person first.

I did some testing yesterday on a 4200u machine without dedicated graphics and it was good enough for 1.5 internal resolution for most Gamecube and Wii games, using Dolphin 3.5

Specifically I tested Wind Walker and Skyward Sword.
