Hey everyone, I recently built a new pc, here are the specs:
GTX 560 TI in SLI, clocked at 830mhz
8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Intel 2500k, quad core at the stock clock (3.3GHz)

I've only tried Twilight Princess (gamecube version, don't want to fuss about with wiimotes) so far but it's fairly underwhelming. I have everything set on the lowest settings (no AA, lowest resolution etc) and I've used the recommended settings yet the game doesn't perform very well. In a few areas my fps will be at 30, however in pretty much everywhere else it dips to about 23 fps. I was expecting to be getting the 30 no bother but apparantly not. What can I try?

Thanks!

Could you take screen shots of your Graphics configuration and show us?
I liked the part where it worked, except there was no such part.

There you go, things might be a bit different from the optimal settings but that's probably due to me faffing around and trying different things.

1) You can raise your IR in the second shot to 3x if you like, it'll look better and your video card can handle it.

2) Set efb copies to texture in the third picture.

3) Disable audio throttle (not shown in any picture) in dsp setings.

4) Shouldn't matter, but try running in a windows instead.

You shouldn't be having any issues, but see what that does for you.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Thanks for the help, did all that but it appears to be running even slower now haha. Any other suggestions?

Forget my number 1) suggestion then, maybe the SLI is causing slowdowns. Not sure what else to tell you, your hardware is good enough to run the game at full speed. Are you running Windows 7?

Well i don't really see the cause of the problem either, but it would be good to know which revision of Dolphin your using

Also, i'd like to know if your using dsplle or have atleast dumped the files to your pc. I'm curious about if you have atleast dumped them to your pc, because if so, i may have an idea as to why your having speed trouble.

I'm using version 3.0-204, and for sound, a check check in the configs reveals im using DSP HLE emulation, but I have dumped the DSP stuff and it's in the folder necessary.

Try 3.0 from the main site.
