Good day y'all

I recently hooked my TV up to my desktop so i could make a perfect emulation setup. My idea was that i could display the fullscreen emulation of dolphin on my secondary monitor (the TV) but i just found out this isnt possible. I wanted it to be just as easy as in retroarch where you can choose your display number and bam it just works.

This is my first thread on these forums so im kind of a newbie in foruming X)

Thanks for reading trough my post!

Have you tried to move the dolphin window to the second monitor? On windows at least, it would fullscreen on the monitor I put the dolphin window to.

Have you tried making your TV the primary display? I used to do this so that whenever I plugged the HDMI into the TV it would be the primary, and when I disconnected the TV my normal monitor would automatically switch back to primary. It was a pretty simple workaround.

And if i launch it trough a frontend via big box will it load up on the tv after that?

This is a pain to deal with. Your options are (short of Dolphin adding code to choose which display to use for fullscreen):

1) Make the TV primary. This sucks for when you want to use your monitor as primary for 99% of usage and only the TV for Dolphin and other minor situations. EVERYTHING will go to the TV on open and it's annoying.

2) Try to use Winkey + Shift + left/right arrow to move the fullscreen viewport. If it's exclusive fullscreen this won't work likely but if it's borderless then it should.
