Super Smash Bros Melee help

Hi guys im new to post so im going to be brief:
I have been playin SSBM but it doesnt run at full speed in battles, it only runs full speed in the menu.

I have dolphin r6987 version. Is there a specific configuration to play SSBM?

plzz HELP me!!
PD: if you need a specific info plzz tell me how to search it and i will get it...
