Super Smash Bros Melee "Freeze" Problem

Hey guys
I have a problem when I want run Super Smash Bros Melee.
It works allways successfully, but when I want play the Classic Mode it freeze in stage 8.

What can I do ?

My Computer System:

CPU: C2D E4300 1,80Ghz @ 3,20Ghz
Ram: 4GB DDR-1066
GPU: GTX260

Bad dump probably. Didn't happen for me. You tried it once only? Maybe it was random crash. Try again if so.

That's the stage where you fight 10 of the same characters, right? I found that disabling anti-aliasing and/or anisotropic filtering fixes the crash, at least on my 32bit build.

Hey good solution, it works!!! Big Grin

But you dont must disable "antisotropic filter" and "force bi/trilinear filtering".
You only must disable "Antialising". Tongue

I don't get these AA problems, I mean, It's like the video card going over the image and smoothing it after it's already rendered, isn't it? Why would it then create problems for the games?
Specs: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz;
16Gb RAM; Raedon HD 7900;

I think I have the same problem...I was using 64-bit 2902 at the time I believe

Is anyone able to complete Adventure Mode with Dr. Mario? It freezes for me right before Final Destination but all other characters work fine. When pressing start, a black screen is all I get while the music seemingly hangs up.

This happens with any of the latest Windows builds 34xx-3548.
