So my controller recently broke and I've been playing SSBB on a keyboard. However, the most annoying drawback is that you cannot walk on it.

I have played Super Smash Flash 2 and that is keyboard only, however you are able to walk normally and tap W,A,S and D twice to run. Is their any way to get this on Dolphin for my keyboard? I'm not good with the controls setup and was wondering if there was any way to change this.

My current controls are below. For anyone who has played SSBB, I am able to short hop and perform smash attacks at my will with keyboard buttons but there is no sensitivity which can help me choose to walk.

I use W to jump and can change the height of my jump by pressing it lightly.

You can make a button do only one thing as its digital in the sense (pressed/not pressed) So yes you can make it walk, but then you cant run. I dont think there is a way to prevision two keys per action? I'd have to look at that for you, but if you can set one key for +(0 to 64 ) and one key for +(64 to 128) then it could be done. AFAIK you can not do that with keys.

It's not possible using keyboard; reason being that the movement controls for SSBB is analog which is pressure sensitive. Key presses, on the other hand, are either fully press or fully released. There is no "in between" with keyboard keys.

The "Modifier" key should be what you need here – holding it makes any stick direction press only go halfway.

but you still will need two keys one for walk and one for run and the goes for right and left directions.
