Super Smash bros Brawl character select

On all the builds i play, whenever i go to character select screen, thers always two hands moving around. Their movements match, im using gcpad plugin and controlling things with my keyboard and mouse. Problem is for some reason it thinks thers a second player and the second hand moves around with the first and is holding the blue coin, thers also a wiimote symbol next to it. I wanna play with only one controller, i cant because i cant choose my opponent, i cant grab the gray cpu coin cuz the second hand is holding it, and when i select one character the other one deselects theirs.

Disable the wiimote in options. Go to the wiimote plugin configuration and set the source of wiimote 1 to "inactive"
