it's strange, when i load up other games like No More Heroes 2, Rune Factory, Wii Sports etc, the booting takes less than 30 seconds, but with SSBB and SMG the loading can take up to 2-3 minutes, does anyone know why this is?

No SMG boots like in 5 sec... Same with NMH2 and SSBB post your settings? All I can say and wait for people come and help you to figure out your problem.

Disable safe texture cache, not needed for the game. Also if you play in full screen, put the 'mode' in same resolution as your desktop res.

And you probably did this, but use dx9 instead of OpenGL. If those settings don't work, it could be just be a revision specific problem. Because your hardware can run all games smoothly without big load times.

What device are you loading from? A burned DVD, computer's hard drive, an external hard drive?

computers hard drive, ISO

but changing revisions made both games boot up no problem, is it just an issue with SVN 5189?

i tried Spellforce R4830 and that works like a dream, excpet that it causes Metroid Prime 3 to mess up a bit lol
