is anyone else having a bunch of crashes and are unable to do any single player campaigns to unlock characters?

Try opening PAL version of Brawl in debugger mode. (make desktop shortcut, right click, select "properties", change target address from "dolphin.exe" [or whatever its called] to "dolphin.exe -d") Once you open dolphin in debugger mode, click "CPU Mode" in top left of debugger window, and make sure that "Boot to Pause" is unchecked, and that "Unlimited JIT Cache" is checked/enabled. Open Brawl and enjoy!

I don't think you 'll get 1080p during cutscenes , I think the'yre VIDEOS , and they're not using the engine in direct!(recorded)

Make sure that in the debugger window, you have "Boot to Pause" (or something like that) unchecked. That might help...
